How to Win at Slots - The Regression Method in Review - Slot Machine Strategy 101

As I leave InterCasino.com for another day, I have some reflections on my experiments with the much-ballyhooed Regression Method of slot machine betting which was layed out in the seminal book on slots wagers, John Patrick's Slots.

My loss at Millionaires Club gives me 4 wins and 4 losses in my Regression sessions. Three of my wins were for four dollars or less, while all of my losses were for $25 or more. My one saving grace was the $44 win I had early on.

All in all, I ended up losing $42 on my Regression Sessions.

So is the Regression method the best money management technique ever invented for slots?

Well, if it's kept John Patrick from working for lo these many years, then I can see why he's so happy about it.

In my mind, it's not much better than any other method. They all seem to depend on winning a big jackpot somewhere along the way. Otherwise, you'll be nickeled and dimed to death by the machine.

The big problem I see with Regression is that it banks on success. If you start out with a $100 win, then I can see where pocketing $50 and playing with the rest makes sense.

But if you don't have that luxury, then you have no money to pocket and the Regression strategy ceases to exist. There is no strategy at that point.

Even if you win a small amount, this system doesn't really hold up well. Imagine you win ten dollars on your first spin. Imagine you pocket $5 and bet the other five.

If you lose, then you either have to walk away from the machine or dip into your bankroll to play again.

Since John Patrick hasn't"kept from working" by winning five dollars at a time, you have to keep playing. So the Regression really doesn't work except in the rarest of situations, when you win significant amounts.

As always, it comes back to winning big jackpots. No strategy works unless you get lucky. Maybe money management keeps you playing long enough to hit one, but all the rest of this stuff seems like bunk to me.

If I were going to offer advice, I would sum it up in the following paragraphs.

If you don't play a progressive jackpot, take the following advice.

Play the minimum amount to qualify for the highest percentage jackpot. If the percentages are the same for one coin as three, play one coin. The only strategy in playing slots that makes sense it to see as many spins as you can. The more spins you see, the better your chances of getting really lucky are.

That's the only chance you have of making real money at slots. Play a lot, minimize your losses and hope to get lucky.

The equation changes a little for the progressives.

Play for a progressive jackpot if possible. If so, play the lowest amount to qualify for the maximum jackpot. Since that's almost always the maximum bet, then I'm saying you should probably bet the maximum amount.

Figure out your bankroll and play a machine that will allow you to see the maximum number of spins for your bankroll. Then hope for luck on one of those spins.

That's pretty much it.

Slots are entertainment. You are probably going to have to pay money to be entertained by them. A few of us will get lucky being entertained by slots, which is what makes playing slot machines so entertaining in the first place.

You might say I take slots gurus as entertainers, too. I find fun with their slots advice, because they are selling a magic formula that probably doesn't exist. Once you figure that out, you can choose to get angry or you can laugh about it.

I choose to do a little of both.

Put quotations around the last two paragraphs and you have your Chuck Flick wise quote of the day.

Take care, people.

Millionaires Club - Classic Slots - 3 Coin Regression Session #4

I entered the Millionaires Club for my fourth and final session of 3 Coin Regression.

The Millionaires Club classic slots game offers reels full of some of the status symbols of American wealth. Among its images are a Rolex watch and a silver Corvette. There are pictures of diamonds and gold bracelets. There is a horseshoe for luck.

To top it all off, Millionaires Club plays piano music when you win. That's classy, my friend.

Millionaires Club is in many ways a classic "classic slots" game. It is a 3 reel, 1 line, 3 coins machine.

It's classic in another way. It took more of my money than I took of its.

This turned into a 15 spin session. I won only two of those spins, the first worth $2 and the second worth $18. That $18 pull came as the next to the last spin, so you can guess the kind of dry streak I was on most of this round of spins.

In fact, I one naked pull away from my limit when I hit the $18. I guess that shows that you should play out a session exactly according to how John Patrick describes, because he knows his stuff.

Even with the late fortune, though, I lost $9 on this session.

So I've figured out what The Millionaires Club refers to. It doesn't refer to Chuck Flick, the player.

The Millionaires Club refers a whole 'nother set of guys. It refers to the guy who owns InterCasino.com, where I played these sessions. It refers to the guy who designed The Millionaires Club classic slots game in the first place.

Those guys are getting rich off me, taking my $9. The Millionaires Club is laughing at me, sitting their enjoying their spritzers and wearing their little captain suits at their regatas. Hope you're having fun at my expense, guys.

Well, call and cancel. I guess my trip to Antigua is off for the time being.

And I'm bitter about it.

Top Hat - Classic Slots - 3 Coin Regression Session #3

Top Hat Magic was my slot machine of choice for the third installmant of my 3 Coin Regression slots session.

The mascot for Top Hat Magic is a buck-toothed white rabbit holding a wand. I have to admit, that rabbit is pretty darned funny to look at. Whenever you win money on this slot machine, the rabbit blinks and waves at you and wacky carnival music plays.

I thought the carnival music was a nice touch. Sphinx Hijinx doesn't have carnival music, though I guess it would be rather strange if it did. Still, I bet a mummy winking at you and waving while carnival music played would be pretty funny.

I mean, mummies chasing after Scooby Doo while funny music played were always a rollicking good time. If something like that happened, then the "hyjinx" part of Sphinx Hyjinx would be more literal.

I like when things make sense.

Anyway, Top Hat Magic only has a 1,000x jackpot. But it also offers 3 lines instead of the 1 offered by Sphinx Hijinx, so the probabilities even out.

I went ahead and used the 3-1-1-2-2-3-3 betting pattern again. I decided I liked it and I wanted to see how the system performed over several different sessions.

Something worked, but I'm not really sure how.

I had 14 pulls, but only two wins. One of those wins was worth $25. Together with a $4 win, I cleared just enough money to have a two dollar winning session.

So that is 7 sessions of Regression and 4 winning sessions. That's a much better percentage than any other method I've used to this point. A pattern is forming. Maybe John Patrick knows what he's talking about.

Starting Money: $485.02 Ending Money: $487.02

WINNING SESSION

Sphinx Hijinx - Classic Slots - 3 Coin Regression Session #2

Are you ready for some Sphinx Hijinx?

That was the slot machine I chose for my second session. Sphinx Hijinx is a classic slots game which implies that ancient Egyptian customs like the pharaonic mummification process were a wacky laugh-a-minute riot instead of grisly and macabre.

What a trip.

Actually, I like Sphinx Hijinx. It offers a 3,000x jackpot, which is bigger than most of the other slot machines I've played in the last few days. Sphinx Hijinx also seemed to pay off a lot.

A good jackpot and lots of payoffs is all I ask for in a slot machine. Funny cartoons and shapely females are optional, though it would be nice to put them all together.

For Sphinx Hijinx, I chose the 3-1-1-2-2-3-3 betting pattern. This gave me a slightly higher portion of 3-increment bets.

This also kept me in the session for longer. All in all, that's probably the way to go.

The session lasted 24 pulls. I came away with 8 wins, including a $15 and two $10 victories.

That was enough to give me a small win. I called an end to the session after 5 straight naked pulls. That was a little short of my naked pull limit, but I wanted to notch a victory.

John Patrick teaches us when to walk away from a slot machine.

I'm beginning to have an intuitive understanding of when John wants me to end a session. It's like a voice in the back of my head, if I can get all Jedi on you for a moment.

John Kenobi. I could see that picture from John Patrick's Slots (i.e. all his other stuff), except John would be wearing a Jedi robe.

He'd still be holding poker chips, though.

Starting Money: $481.02 Ending Money: $485.02

Dolphin King - Classic Slots - The 3 Coin Regression Sessions

Dolphin King was the classic slots machine I chose for session #1 of the day.

Whoever came up with the concept for Dolphin King is pretty imaginative. He's like the king of the sea or something. Or more likely, he's just the king of the dolphins, which isn't really quite so impressive.

Still, other images show a blowfish, a perch and a snail shell. I'm guessing those are part of the Dolphin King's dominion.

The Dolphin King--whoever would think of such a thing?

Actually, the Dolphin King reminds me very much of the Toad King from a South Park episode. Maybe one of those people is coming up with slots themes these days.

The Dolphin King is an imposing looking dolphin sitting on a throne of pearls and holding his royal scepter. And we all know why kings held scepters...(wink wink).

For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, jeweled rods were a sign of potency. Think about it.

I went with an odd betting pattern to start. Since this is the 3 coin method, I expected 3 coins to be the biggest increment. But John Patrick's Slots gave a number of optional patterns in this chapter, and one of them was the 3-2-3-4-5 pattern.

Wanting to bet big after the last set of sessions, I went with the biggest betting pattern John Patrick would allow.

I should have chosen the smallest one.

This session lasted 9 pulls. I had two wins, one for $3 and another for $5. That's not very good when you're betting big numbers.

So I hit my loss limit and got the hell out of these.

Dolphin King--I bet Flipper could kick your ass.

Starting Money: $507.02 Ending Money: $481.02

LOSING SESSION

Intercasino.com - InterCasino - The 3 Coin Regression Method Sessions

After my Standard Regression slots sessions, I still have just over $500 in my InterCasino.com account. So I'll play my 3 Coin Regression games at InterCasino.

The 3 Coin Regression is a deviation of the method I was playing in the last set of posts. Instead of a standard bet with regressions off of that theme, the 3 Coin method uses a betting pattern.

Three coin regression calls for a betting pattern in increments of 1, 2 and 3 from your standard regression bet. Lots of money can change hands this way.

If a third of your bets are the same as before, a third of your bets are twice what they were before and a third of your bets are three times the standard value, if you do the math I will be betting on average twice what I did in the original sessions.

So I would expect to either win or lose around twice what was expected in the earlier sessions. I won $44 and $2 on the first two sessions, then lost $27 and $32 on the next two. That brought my total to $13 lost, so I should expect to lose twice that amount on these sessions.

Some would say that's realistic. I would call that pessimism. I have other plans.

My best guess is I will win double that $44 in four straight sessions. So I'm hoping to walk away from InterCasino with an extra $176 in my pocket.

Now that the math part of our presentation is over, let me tell you which online slots games I'll be playing. The "slot machines" of choice today are Dolphin King, Sphinx Hijinx, Top Hat Magic and the Millionaires Club.

I chose the Millionaires Club because I'm going to join one of those as soon as I make my million dollars and move to Antigua. While I'm playing those slots, I'm going to imagine I'm sitting around with my millionaire friends drinking spritzers at the regata.

Star Catcher - Classic Slots - Regression Session #4

After such a short session of Galactic Odyssey, I wanted to remain in the science fiction genre. So I chose to play Star Catcher this time around.

Star Catcher is another classic slots game.

Star Catcher has a telescopes and crescent moons. It has the planet Saturn, satellites and those mysterious U.F.O.'s no one wants you to know about.

Even cooler, Star Catcher has a shooting star falling--and the sound of a comet falling to go along with it.

Actually, since shooting stars burn up in the upper atmosphere, I don't think they make much sound. This one sounds like blast off or a wind tunnel or something. Realistic or not, I like the shooting star sounds.

Oh, I wanted to take a moment to get technical.

Let me mention why I like the classic slots for the Regression Method.

On the 9 reels, the bets are usually in increments of a nickel, a dime, a quarter and a dollar. If you win a quarter-based bet, you can't really put half of that quarter in your pocket and bet the other half. The dime is the closest denomination you can use.

With the classic slots, you can lower the bet in dollar increments, or use the line method to lower the size of your bets.

I wanted to point this out to show the care I am taking to follow John Patrick's advice for playing his systems.

I am a conscientious slots player. I'm fastidious about slots. You may not have known that about me.

My Star Catcher session was 12 pulls long. I had one winning $10 pull 6 spins in. Otherwise, the rest were losers.

This time around, the other pillar of John Patrick's money management philosophy saved me from losing indefinite amounts of money. I came up against me loss limit.

For those who haven't been reading since the beginning, loss limit is generally 60% of your session bankroll--if you are using the John Patrick money management methods for slots success.

My standard bankroll is usually $50 per session, which is what it was here. So my loss limit was $30. When I hit thirty dollars in losses, I'm supposed to walk away.

Which is exactly what I did.

That would be my 4th session of the standard Regression Method. These last two sessions were brutal, because I lost nearly $60 between them.

That means I am down playing the Regression Method. This news has me bewildered, and I'm going to have to reevaluate the way I am executing John's techniques.

I have a lot of soul searching to do. Of course, this experiment is not over by a long shot.

You might think 4 sessions is hardly enough to test the greatest slots system known to man.

Well, do not worry. I am going to continue these sessions with a variation on the Regression Model. I intend on 4 more sessions of the 3 Coin variation of the Regression Method.

3 Coin Regression is for veteran players only. Point values can really change in this round.

Starting Money: $539.02 Ending Money: $507.02

LOSING SESSION

Galactic Odyssey - Classic Slots - Regression Session #3

Galactic Odyssey is another throwback "classic slots" game. This slots game has pictures of rocket ships, ringed planets and orbiting moons. Galactic Odyssey is the Star Trek of online slot machines.

I wish this game had a picture of a Captain Kirk type space officer. But that would be too geeky, I guess. I bet William Shatner or the estate of Gene Roddenberry would sue the hell out of the makers of Galactic Odyssey, too.

But it would still be neat.

You know, I'm a little depressed.

This was the first Regression Method session I lost. And I didn't just lose. I lost and lost and kept on losing.

In fact, I lost nine straight pulls. 0 for 9. I hit my naked pulls limit and ended the session.

This brings me to an interesting note to make about the Regression session. It doesn't really explain what to do when you lose. The Regression Method really doesn't work so well, if you don't start winning from the first spin. And we all know that you'll have more losing spins than winning ones in most slots sessions.

You can never regress your bets when you don't have any money to put back in your pocket.

But I'm not being critical of John Patrick's Slots. John Patrick's money management techniques saved me from losing more money on this particular session. I might still be sitting at the Galactic Odyssey machine pulling down naked pulls if I didn't have a 9 naked pull limit.

Let's move on to the next session.

Starting Money: $566.02 Ending Money: $539.02

LOSING SESSION

Triple Olives - Classic Slots - Regression Session #2

I like the Triple Olives classic slot machine game. It hearkens back to the golden age of slot machines. Triple Olives classic slots is for old-timers.

Triple Olives depicts the icons of the Cocktail Generation. The olives are, of course, sitting at the bottom of a cocktail glass.

Yeah, pass the vermouth.

Triple Olives is a classic three reel slot with a 1,000x jackpot. It's simple. It's straightforward. It's for a drinking man, a man's man like John Patrick.

This session lasted 13 spins. I got 4 wins scattered through those 13 spins, complete with two $10 pulls, as well as a $5 and an $8 pull.

Each time, I would put back half the money I won. If I had to dip into my bankroll, I would return to my starting bet.

This session was shorter than the last one. But I decided that John Patrick would want me to have a second winning session. So when I got up late in the session, I decided to use good money management and walk away from the game of Triple Olives slots.

I ground out a small win, which is what John Patrick likes for us to do.

For those counting at home, that's two out of two winning sessions of Regression. This is the greatest betting system in the history of slots.

Starting Money: $564.02 Ending Money: $566.02

WINNING SESSION

Hotdog - 9 Reel Slots - Regression Session #1

I decided to use the Hotdog 9 Reel slots game for my first session.

I've still got many of the InterCasino 9 reel slots machines to play, but I may change to another kind of online slot machine for the rest of the sessions. I enjoy the 9 reels, but found the betting increments didn't work perfectly for the Regression method.

I certainly don't want ot screw up the best money management system in the world, you know.

But I like the Hotdog game. The star of this show is a busty poodle in sunglasses. Her (hopeful) paramour is a chihuahua in heat. I mean, this poor dog's tongue is hanging out, he's so horny for the poodle.

I guess the poodle is the "hot dog". Other images include a hair pick and a dog collar. I presume the dog collar has no sexual connotations, per se.

That's my guess. I'll let the readers make their own call on that one. But enough of the slot machine; let's get to the session.

I was a little stumped after my first pull on Hotdog. I lost the first pull, which wasn't covered in John Patrick's chapter on the Regression Method. You're supposed to pocket your winnings, but I had no winnings.

Faced with this unenviable dilemma, I worked through what John Patrick would do in my position. I decided he would probably keep playing. He hasn't had to work for "lo these many years", so I assume that means he probably pulls the slot machine arm more than once in most sessions.

So I started playing the Regression much as I would a normal session, hoping for a win so I could institute the Regression.

I was three pulls in before I won a spin, giving me $5.00. That's when the strategy started to work for me. I put $2.50 in my pocket and started playing with the rest.

It went on this way for 14 pulls, with me winning $20.75 and losing a little bit more. On the 15th and 17th pulls, I collected $50 and $34 wins.

Each time, I pocketed half of my winnings and spun again. After the 18th pull, I decided to end the sessions.

Hey, it looks like this Regression Method is going to be a winner.

Starting Money: $520.02 Ending Money: $564.02

Intercasino.com - InterCasino - The Regression Method Sessions

I'm excited about trying out John Patrick's Regression slot machine method. I haven't felt this much anticipation stepping up to an online slot machine since I started these experiments.

Why, do you ask?

Let me quote none other than John Patrick himself.

"We finally reach the Regression System, a method of betting that has kept me from working for lo these many years. I believe it is the greatest betting system, the strongest Money Management move ever put into use." --Chapter 16, John Patrick's Slots

Yes, you read it for yourself. Today, I will be experimenting with the greatest betting system ever put into use.

What is the regression method?

If you win your first bet, you place bets on a "regressive" scale. Basically, you take back some of your winnings, so you never have a losing session!

Imagine that you win $10 on your first bet. First of all, take back your original bet and put it in your pocket. That's yours. Second, take back 50% of what you won and pocket it. Third, you put the other 50% on the betting line.

Yes, you bet half your original winnings. Maybe that money turns into a profit, too. Maybe you lose it. But if you don't bet any more money on this session, you will always walk away with a profit.

It sounds too good to be true. We'll find out if it is.

I'll be using InterCasino.com for these sessions.

Now you might be ask why I keep using InterCasino lately. I have no affiliation with InterCasino, beyond that of a happy customer. But I keep winning enough in the InterCasino poker rooms to fund my slots systems sessions.

Basically, I have a bankroll to use at InterCasino.com.

If you are looking to win at poker, you might try them out, too. I'm certainly no Men "the Master", but I keep taking money from the players at InterCasino. You've got to love that action.

But enough about poker. I am a slots scientist today. I consider myself the Copernicus of slot machine players.

Join me as I enter my chosen laboratory.

How to Win at Slots - Chuck Flick's Three Key System to Slots Success

You might want to bookmark this page about how to win at slots.

It's that important. If you master the following strategies, you WILL be a winning slot machine player.

1. Win $100 jackpots.

That's right. If you win $100 jackpots on a regular basis, you're going to win money at slots.

Don't worry whether you're going to win $3 on a $2.50 bet. You'll never win enough of those to keep afloat. But if you win $100 jackpots on sessions of 15 spins or less (betting reasonable amounts of a few dollars at a time), you'll have winning sessions.

Take that to the bank.

2. If you can't win $100 jackpots, then win $80 jackpots.

I like this system.

I've had this happen to me several times in these experiments, and I've always been happy using this strategy. This is a method which has worked for me in the past.

It's not as good as winning a hundred bucks at a time, but winning 80 bucks is still pretty good.

I would recommend it.

3. Win a bigger jackpot if you can.

Don't worry about the $100 and $80 jackpots unless you have to. You probably should know; if you can master winning more than $100 at a time, that is the way to go. But don't concentrate on this strategy, unless you think you can master it.

I guess that winning something like $30,000 on a pull would probably assure a winning session. It would probably cover many losing sessions, too.

Now, I would place this as the #1 key to winning slots, but I haven't actually had one of these happen to me in my experiments. I'm just guessing that big jackpots would help your bank account.

In the scientific community, this would be referred to as a theory. I know that's heady talk, but I'm a theoretical kind of gambler. I come up with stuff. I come up with theories.

But I'm guessing I'm on pretty solid ground with Key to Success #3.

Final Note: An unofficial fourth key to success is to avoid a lot of losing sessions. You should have more winning sessions than losing sessions. At the very least, you should win more money than you lose. That will assure you are a winning slots player.

The fourth key is almost dictated by the first three points, but I thought it bore mentioning.

If I had a second edition to my Three Keys to Success, it would probably be called something like Chuck Flick's Four Key System to Slots Success. It would have a new up-to-date picture and everything.

That's kind of where John Patrick and I would differ.

The Oracle - 9 Reel Slots - Pattern 5 Coin Session #4

I played The Oracle 9 Reel Slots game for my final session of Pattern 5 Coin. The Oracle offers pictures of tarot cards and arcane texts and runic looking poker card ranks.

The runic alphabet is a little hard to read. I kept wondering why there was a picture of an "i", before I realized it was a "j" for Jack. That explained why there was a "9", because it was actually a "q" for Queen. As people are wont to say, that's my bad.

Of course, The Oracle is for slot machine players who also dig mysticism. It's for the occult gambler. Since I'm not an occultist, it's natural that I wouldn't understand esoteric stuff like the difference in 9's and q's. I leave that for the Wikkans and people like that.

Oh, before I continue, let me say something about InterCasino.com.

I've played approximately 15 or so sessions of slots at this casino lately. Despite having played a new "slot machine" every session, I still have a wide array of game choices. So let me give InterCasino props for their hard work.

I'm feeling charitable right now, because I had a winning session.

You heard right. I won big on The Oracle session. It pulled me out of a long slots tailspin.

I had a long 22 pull session. I won on an amazing 12 of the 22 spins. I had two $15 and one $10 win. Most importantly, I had a $100 winning pull.

Which brings something to mind. After 35 odd sessions, I've begun to develop my own strategies for winning at slots.

Now I know what you're going to say. "Oh, here we go. Chuck has lured me in and now he's going to try to sell me a slots system."

It's nothing like that. My slots advice is for free. After reading it, I'm pretty sure you'll agree with me that it works 100% of the time--if you follow it to the tee.

It's a simple three point system. I call it The Chuck Flick Three Key System to Slots Success. Read about it and see if you agree.

Note: My system is so important for my readers to see, I'm making it a seperate post. That way, you're sure to see it. I don't want to bury my headline, you see.

Cool Bananas - 9 Reel Slots - Pattern 5 Coin Session #3

The Cool Bananas 9 reel slots game was the setting for my third session of Pattern 5 coin. I like Cool Bananas.

This video slot machine game has a blue ape in a hula shirt as its mascot. It's my theory that apes and monkeys make any story better. I think apes and monkeys are just plain funny. You might not have known that about me.

Take Jade Idol for instance. If that game had thrown a couple of monkey pictures in there, it would have been much more entertaining. Have a gorilla holding a machinegun? That's gold. A monkey in sunglasses playing a xilophone? That's good stuff, man.

The next time you're playing your average video slot machine game, just imagine every other picture is some kind of primate. You'll be entertained; I promise.

Of course, Cool Bananas took more of my money. Yep, yep...I had another losing session.

This session lasted 16 pulls and included 6 wins. One of those wins was a $20 spin. But it really didn't matter.

The "pattern" on this one was 3-4-5-4-3 and then start over again. So most of the bets were larger.

Frankly, I set a high pattern because I got tired of playing for $0.45 spins. Maybe that wasn't the best idea. Maybe I'm deviating from John Patrick's money management techniques.

But John Patrick said we were going to be aggressive with the Pattern. And besides, that 3-4-5-4-3 closely paralleled a pattern John Patrick included in his Pattern 5 Coin chapter. So I'm following the slot systems method.

I don't think this is working. I lost another smooth $32 on this one, folks.

Jade Idol - 9 Reel Slots - Pattern 5 Coin Session #2

We travel to the exotic Far East for our next game of slots. I tried the Jade Idol video slot machine game for session #2.

I bet Jade Idol was created by the people who created Dick Danger. The Jade Idol woman looked a lot like the slutty and sophisticated woman from Dick Danger. Of course, Jade Idol was Asian. That was the difference, you see.

I have to say I wasn't too impressed with this game. I don't want you to think I'm being anti-Asian when I say that. That Asian woman was hot--in a slutty, sophisticated kind of way.

But Jade Idol didn't have many pictures besides Jade Idol herself. It was a bunch of card rank symbols. How much time does it take to design a game like that?

On the upside, Jade Idol wasn't as freaky as Dick Danger. The picture of the eyeball private eye is a hard one to get out of your head. Video slot machines shouldn't give you nightmares, you know.

Of course, if I keep losing sessions of video slots, I'll have other reasons to lose sleep. It's getting to around ten losing sessions in a row. It's just a good thing I'm using John Patrick's money management systems, or I might not have an account at InterCasino at all.

I had a 13 pull session of Jade Idol. I changed up my betting pattern on this one. It was 1-2-1-3-1-4-1-5 and then back to the beginning. I won a couple of 50 cent pulls, a 15 cent pull and a four dollar win. There was also a ten dollar winner. That's five wins out of thirteen.

That's better than session #1. But I lost again. I lost 26 dollars, in fact. That's because those 4 and 5 increment bets got real expensive.

John Patrick said we would be more aggressive with the Pattern method of slots. He was right.

Unfortunately, my aggression isn't paying off very much. Some of my bets got up in the $10 range. As you see, winning 15 cents isn't much of a remedy for losing ten bills.

So I lost again, dammit.

Mr. Rich - 9 Line Slots - Pattern 5 Coin Session #1

Mr. Rich was the first slots game I played for these sessions. It is a 9 Line slot machine, one of four I'll be playing today.

I figured playing the "Mr. Rich" slots game might bring me luck. I figured it would help me get rich or something.

Mr. Rich is this cigar-chomping guy in a Panama Jack hat. He looks like he has money and wants to throw it around.

The other images are stuff like a wallet & cash, a mansion and a bottle of spirits. That's one thing you about rich people; they drink hard liquor a lot. I thought you should know that about them.

Mr. Rich is a little like Dr. Love. He's got a main squeeze. She's this bored looking blonde.

I'm not sure what the story is here. Maybe Mr. Rich is the blonde's sugar daddy. Or maybe he's pursuing the blonde. Or maybe she's a professional--if you know what I mean. (wink)

Whatever, there's a picture of the blonde on Mr. Rich's cellphone, so I'm figuring the blonde must have some hidden talents.

You may have figured out by now; not much happened this slots session. If it had, I'd be bragging about how great John Patrick's slot machine betting methods are. But I didn't have much to keep my attention except whether Mr. Rich is shagging the blonde.

I tried the Pattern 5 coin method. You set a pattern and you stick with it. This is different than the other systems I've played--where I also used betting patterns--except in this case we call it the Pattern method.

Some of the patterns are very reminiscent of the Chicken method, but I would warn you not to get the two mixed up. That would be a huge mistake on your part.

The pattern I used for this session was 1-3-5-5-3-1. The session lasted 13 pulls. I won on two of the pulls, for a total of $12.80 from the two wins.

I bet you can see this one coming. 13 pulls and only 2 wins. Yes, I had another losing session.

Mr. Rich, my ass.
